Bonnie Urquhart Gruenberg is an artist, photographer, author, and certified nurse-midwife. Bonnie Urquhart Gruenberg is well known in midwifery circles as the author of the award-winning book ''Birth Emergency Skills Training''. Born in Rhode Island in 1963, she was raised in Southington, Connecticut, and later worked as a paramedic in central Connecticut. After attending the University of Pennsylvania to obtain a MSN in midwifery, she authored two books on managing childbirth emergencies: Essentials of Prehospital Maternity Care for EMS providers, and Birth Emergency Skills Training for out-of-hospital midwives.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.amazon.com/Bonnie-Urquhart-Gruenberg/e/B001H6GUE6 )〕 Since 1994, Gruenberg has researched and photographed, and written about the wild horse herds which inhabit certain Atlantic Coast barrier islands.
